What Bidsmith does
Bidsmith connects to your Upwork account through Upwork's official connection, watches for fitting jobs, filters and scores them, and drafts proposals that sound like you. It can alert you when a draft is ready. We do not scrape Upwork pages.
How proposals are submitted
You connect your own Upwork account and authorize Bidsmith to act through it. You choose how proposals are submitted. Manual is the default.
- Manual: you review the draft in the app and submit yourself, or use Submit on Upwork after an explicit confirm.
- Approve on phone: Bidsmith drafts and pushes the proposal to your phone. It submits through your Upwork connection only after you tap Approve. Reject skips the job.
- Automatic: after you give explicit consent, Bidsmith submits matching jobs on your behalf within your min score, daily and weekly caps, max Connects per job, and weekly Connects budget, then notifies you. You can pause or switch modes at any time.
Every submit, in every mode, runs Upwork's create-then-confirm flow, spends your Connects, and is recorded in your account activity. You can change your mode, pause submission, or disconnect at any time.
Acceptable use
Use Bidsmith only with accounts you are authorized to operate. Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse the API, or use the service to harass clients or violate Upwork's terms.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users.
Liability
Bidsmith is provided as-is. We do not guarantee job awards, reply rates, or income. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to fees you paid us in the three months before a claim.
